Established in 2004, the Salt SLSC is officially the newest surf club in NSW after it was recently elevated into the ranks of Australia’s 100 year-old surf life saving movement, following its official induction as NSW’s first new club in 18 years.
Its induction as Australia’s 129th surf club follows a two year probation period in which the club had to demonstrate compliance with government surf safety standards.

Professional lifeguards and volunteers are on patrol 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year to ensuring residents, locals and guest can safely enjoy the 1.2 kilometres stretch of golden beach every day of the year. .
Salt SLSC is a strong and vibrant club and its members pride themselves on patrols, surf education and junior training. The club is also committed to the community and hosts various formal and informal social events throughout the year for members, supporters and local Salt Village residents.
